Who’s Your Daddy?

During the last International Session Kris made a comment that has stuck with me. He said in effect that since ATI created everything, then ATI owned everything and as a consequence there was nothing in our world that was ‘ours’ in any meaningful way.

All of the realities within which we find ourselves are ‘on loan’, so to speak, from ATI for one purpose and one purpose only. We, the individual focuses of awareness that comprise ATI, are certainly created by ATI, and we get to use these ‘props’ to expand our awareness and understanding of ‘who and what we are’, and our constitutional relationship with the aforementioned ATI.

That’s the deal, simple as it may sound.

We do not own anything in the world, our bodies, our lives, or even our experiences. Since ATI creates all of these things, including us, ALL of this is clearly ATI’s possession and property. This is just giving credit where credit is due.

The one thing, though, that we do own and create for ourselves is our unique and individual perceptions. [Woo!]

Here is the relevant quote from last week’s session…

KRIS: Indeed. So you are aware that the source of everything is what you call “All That Is” correct?

MARK: Indeed.

CHUCK: Indeed!

KRIS: Now if All That Is is the source of everything, the first cause and the cause of all things – the primal cause – then would it also make sense that everything that is, or all that is, belongs to All That Is?

CHUCK: Sure.

ELLEN: Still with you.

KRIS: Therefore, since everything belongs to All That Is, then why would anyone worry about their own possessions, which belong to All That Is?

MARK: (Humorously) He doesn’t want it back, does he?

CHUCK: They don’t understand the freely given nature of all those things. They think that there’s a limited amount. They think that they are created in particular ways, seeing the way that they gather them through the auspices of the false ego, there’s no understanding there of that concept.

KRIS: Indeed, that is an astute observation. What other observations might others have here?

JOHN: Well, if my so-called possessions were never mine, aren’t mine, will never be mine, more, less or in-between, then there’s no need to be stressed about them.

It doesn’t seem to be in the transcript, but Kris definitely affirmed that ATI created us. We, as essence or Source Selves, are absolutely the creations of ATI… Thence what duty and reverence to we owe?

And when we realize that ATI is a personality. Has personhood, feelings, a body, and all the other attributes of being a person – only in unlimited quantities as this is ATI – then we begin to recognize the possibilities of establishing a living, loving, ongoing relationship with this enchanting being living in our heart and offering advice and direction without judgement of any kind. With, in fact, great enjoyment and relish!
